Where We Are Now

After finding and remediating mold twice in our Colorado home, we abandoned ship in October 2008. Because of the high levels of exposure, our entire family was affected. After months of seeing different specialists for all of the problems, we came to Arizona to begin comprehensive treatment to rid our bodies of the toxic buildup. In August 2009 we moved into a larger home, four bedrooms, south of Tucson, north of Mexico. I am doing my daily radio program/ writing from that location. Thanks for praying for us. We really feel it.

Happy 90th Birthday to the one, the only, Robert Fabry. Born February 16, 1920 in Omar, WV. Nicknames: Snaggletooth, Porbert Farby (an actual letter was adressed to him that way), Keeper of the Kitten.

It's too long a story, one day I will tell it, about the time I let the cat in the house and my dad had to get it out of the house. Oh that was an evening well spent.

Tonight he's having pizza and birthday cake, I hear. Wish I could be there to partake. Happy Birthday, Daddy!!

I can identify with your father. I weighed 9 lbs when I was 18 months old. My mom was afraid to give me a bath, she called the neighbor and she came over. They finally found a doctor who put me on goats milk and I began gaining weight and became normal. Please tell your father I said happy birthday, I cannot go on blogs at work, thanks!

Dear Mr. Fabry,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I remember when my own dad turned 90 five years ago, he took great pride in telling everyone that he was now a "nonagenarian." (Some people thought that meant he didn't eat certain foods, but he soon set them straight.) May you bear that lofty title with equal pride!

We love hearing the occasional stories about you and Kathryn that Chris brings our way! His love for you both is SO evident. You must be very proud of him! He's a delight to us all, whether listeners, readers, or friends (or all of the above). You definitely raised a good 'un there! (Just don't tell him I said that.) :-)

Blessings to you today and in the days ahead. May God bless you richly as you continue to shine His light.

P.S. I can't wait to hear the story about the cat getting into the house. I trust there was a happy ending for everyone concerned.

Chris I just read your book JuneBug and I loved it, and am waiting on Dogwood from library. Are you from Hurricane WV. I'am. But I live in Orrville Ohio. Was that a true story? I'am also a Christian. Keep the books coming. Cordially

Janet,
I'm from the next town over from Hurricane, Culloden. Story is not true, it's fiction, but all good fiction has truth in it, so I hope some of it is true. There was a little boy who was killed out in front of our school when I was in 1st grade and that stuck with me.
