Where We Are Now

After finding and remediating mold twice in our Colorado home, we abandoned ship in October 2008. Because of the high levels of exposure, our entire family was affected. After months of seeing different specialists for all of the problems, we came to Arizona to begin comprehensive treatment to rid our bodies of the toxic buildup. In August 2009 we moved into a larger home, four bedrooms, south of Tucson, north of Mexico. I am doing my daily radio program/ writing from that location. Thanks for praying for us. We really feel it.

This will be the most fun I have with a blog all year.
Who are these two young lovebirds? Cary Grant and Ida Lupino? Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed? No, it's my dear old Mumsy and Popsy. You see, they were married on March 16, 1950 in California. My mother was in the Navy and my father stalked her all the way from West Virginia.

They were married and returned to West Virginia and he began working at Union Carbide and farming on the side and she worked at a bank in Huntington, WV. Soon, there was another little mouth to feed, my older brother John, so...I can't recall if she let some wolves take care of him or if he stayed home alone. Either way, two years later my other brother happened to drop out of the sky and it was two against two. I believe during this time they lived beside my grandfather's farm in Culloden, WV, within sight of the Interstate. Times were hard and they scraped by trading baseball cards and eating ramps, until I came along in 1961. That changed everything. It was prosperity all around! People flocked to see this little bundle of joy and paid admittance to hear me laugh until milk came out my nose.

Here is a picture of them recently, some 60 years since the picture above. Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed eat your hearts out.

My sister-in-law, Kim, snapped the shot below as they walked through a nearby graveyard of many of our kin last Memorial Day. We're sure blessed to have had the longevity of their marriage and lives. May Robert and Kathryn Fabry enjoy many more years of wedded bliss!
