Where We Are Now

After finding and remediating mold twice in our Colorado home, we abandoned ship in October 2008. Because of the high levels of exposure, our entire family was affected. After months of seeing different specialists for all of the problems, we came to Arizona to begin comprehensive treatment to rid our bodies of the toxic buildup. In August 2009 we moved into a larger home, four bedrooms, south of Tucson, north of Mexico. I am doing my daily radio program/ writing from that location. Thanks for praying for us. We really feel it.

If you saw the Obama/McCain interview by Rick Warren and have a comment, I would love to hear about it. Please post a comment below--we'll be tackling the issue on the 8/18 Chris Fabry Live!

I am just wondering how there can be a disconnect between being a believer in Jesus Christ and not realizing that the unborn child is one of the "least of these"? Or atleast realizing that aborting an unborn child is aborting what God is creating. Isaiah 44 and Psalm 139. I wonder how many believers out there have this disconnect?

WOW, I can honestly say that I didn't learn anything knew from listening to the forum. Today I your show I was SHOCKED at what I heard from your callers. They saw that less than 10% of born again christians have a bibical worldview, I would say on your show today that # would be much lower. People are not going to scripture to see what it says, about life's hard questions. Their worldview is not coming from scripture. What a very sad state the church is in today.

When the bible talks about 'in the last days many shall be decieved.' We as Christians need to realize that the bible was not talking about non-believers, but rather believers. And seems like the only reason that christians are voting republican is because the republican party SAYS that they are pro-life. However, not one republican or democrate president has attempted reversing the aborption law. Why do we think in the box, that only abortion matters, and forget about the children who are from the poor families right here in America. Do they not have a right to live? Do we care about the inner city children who die everyday, don't misunderstand me, I believe we have to fight for the unborn also. But it is time that we look beyond just the unborn and focus on the ones whom their mothers dicided not to abort. How many of us christians are ashamed of talking about Jesus. Seem to me Mr.McCain is ashamed to use the name of Jesus,if he does not I have NEVER heard him said 'Jesus'. Please correct me if I am wrong. It is clear that Mr.Obama believes that Jesus is the only way to salvation. We are not perfect, but I rather vote for a christian than a non-christian. And Mr.McCain actions demonstrates that he is ashamed of the name Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus would point the sinner to the correct path, rather than condemn them. So Mr.Obama's idea on helping find a way to reduce abortion is more believable than what Mr.McCain says about being pro-life. What really does that mean? I believe this is another one saying what he knows believers want to hear. As believers in Jesus, let us begin to help others find the truth and stop condemning, those who are lost.

Tina,
Worldview is the key here. Sometimes the worldview is more informed by culture and social pressures than the Bible.

What a breath of fresh air to hear politics without attacks and dirt! I really felt like the way the candidates approached the questions was more telling than the answers themselves. I publicized it on my blog, hoping that, Christian or non-Christian, people will get excited about a return to civility in politics.
