Where We Are Now

After finding and remediating mold twice in our Colorado home, we abandoned ship in October 2008. Because of the high levels of exposure, our entire family was affected. After months of seeing different specialists for all of the problems, we came to Arizona to begin comprehensive treatment to rid our bodies of the toxic buildup. In August 2009 we moved into a larger home, four bedrooms, south of Tucson, north of Mexico. I am doing my daily radio program/ writing from that location. Thanks for praying for us. We really feel it.

On today's Chris Fabry Live, Hour 2, I'm going to pay tribute to my father and I'm hoping many will be encouraged by his life and struggles. People at the funeral said they never knew what he went through and that his story was similar to their family's journey.

If you would like to see the video my sister-in-law, Kim, put together of his life and the beautiful job the funeral home did, click here. You'll see photos of my brothers and me and two old love birds, married more than 61 years.

Here's a photo of my brothers and me with my mother, Kathryn (center), and his surviving sister, Elizabeth.

We hadn't been able to listen to your program the last few days and didn't realize your father had been promoted (my Mother's term). Our sincerest condolences are with you and your family, especially your Mom. What a glorious time he must be having in Heaven now with his Savior and those who have gone on before. Perhaps he has already dined with some of the great men and women of the Bible. We pray your hearts will be continually comforted. Roy and Sarah McCollum

I am so sorry for your loss, Chris. Heaven's gain but so hard for those left behind for this short time. My prayers are with you, Andrea, the kids and your whole family.

I was so touched by your program this afternoon. I lost my dad 2 yrs. ago, and like yours, he was a simple man of God. A farmer, a businessman, a well thought of person by all who knew him. I miss him tons and still cry often over his loss. Praise the Lord, I will meet him at the gates of heaven someday as will you meet your father.
God Bless You Chris.

Awesome program today Chris! Know it was really tough on you emotionally but you gave such a wonderful heartfelt tribute to your dad. Ah the priceless value of memories, especially those that are written down to bring comfort for years to come. Praying for you and your family. Hugs to you all from Andy and Kathy

Just learned today of your father's passing on your radio program. As I shared with you on your blog, my husband,a quad, has not been well so I've missed some of your programs. Thank you for selflessly giving back to others at such a difficult time. The Tribute Video touched my heart. To look into your dad's eyes is to see Jesus. Praying the vision I shared for my husband brought comfort to you at this time of grief. Thankful you have the comfort of the Master. God Bless...Joan
