Where We Are Now

After finding and remediating mold twice in our Colorado home, we abandoned ship in October 2008. Because of the high levels of exposure, our entire family was affected. After months of seeing different specialists for all of the problems, we came to Arizona to begin comprehensive treatment to rid our bodies of the toxic buildup. In August 2009 we moved into a larger home, four bedrooms, south of Tucson, north of Mexico. I am doing my daily radio program/ writing from that location. Thanks for praying for us. We really feel it.

On the 6-11 program, Jon Gauger talked about his travels on a Mercy Ship, bringing help and hope to many who have unresolved medical problems. All photos contained here are used with the permission of Mercy Ships.

Here is the man with the goiter Jon spoke about last week. This is what he looked like before the surgery.

Imagine living every day with something the size of a grapefruit on the side of your neck!

Now, here's the surgery Jon witnessed and the actual growth that was removed from this man. Again, this is not for the squeamish because you see the actual surgical tools, etc.

Now, take a look at the man after the surgery. We pray God will bless him not only with health, but a fresh look at the love of Christ.

One other person I have to tell you about is the little girl Jon mentioned on the broadcast. Parasites are a huge problem in Africa and this young girl had worms growing inside her for quite some time. After fasting to reduce their size, here's a picture of what they were able to take from her.

And also a picture of Jon with the girl and her mother. Thanks to Mr. Gauger for his excellent reportage and photography!

Chris and Jon,

Thanks so much for posting these photos. My daughter, Laura, is a nurse on Africa Mercy, and had told us about Jon being there to do a special promotional project for Africa Mercy. We love hearing her stories of how God is using that ministry to reach the peoples of western Africa, including various people's specific stories. The pictures just make it all the more up close and personal for us!

She had told us that Jon would be doing live broadcasts with MBN, and we have found you online. Enjoyed the stories with Jon, and could picture Laura there.
