Where We Are Now

After finding and remediating mold twice in our Colorado home, we abandoned ship in October 2008. Because of the high levels of exposure, our entire family was affected. After months of seeing different specialists for all of the problems, we came to Arizona to begin comprehensive treatment to rid our bodies of the toxic buildup. In August 2009 we moved into a larger home, four bedrooms, south of Tucson, north of Mexico. I am doing my daily radio program/ writing from that location. Thanks for praying for us. We really feel it.

I just moved all of our worldly possessions from the hotel where we were staying to the home where we'll now rent. It took me 10 minutes to move everything. By myself. We signed a lease last night--the kind folks are letting us rent it month by month. It is a beautiful new home, never lived in, so the concerns over problems with this new house and the health of it are nil.

We sent samples to be tested in Texas at a lab that will tell us if we have toxins in our systems. We should know something Monday about whether or not we have the stachybotrus in our systems. I'm worried most about the children because they seem more susceptible.

Through it all, we've been so encouraged by loving family and friends. Thanks for your prayers. We are going to try and sleep in the new house tonight and are hunting for a good deal on mattresses.

Hello, Fabry family,
I am just now reading your Flogs. 'Blogs came out' just before my ability to pay for the internet hit me. I was without from October 2006 to August 2010. Talk about culture shock--when technology is involved things come about, seemingly at mock speed when you're not a part of it.
I did, however, follow your housing problems on the radio except for knowing exactly what the main problem was with the homes. I now know it was black mold. My son and family were always ill. Mostly him and my grandchildren who were from infancy to two years. The mobile home they were living renting was falling down about their ears, and the vents smelled suspiously foul. I felt it was past crud from other renters, their animals, et al, but black mold was heavy on my mind. I told them in no uncertain way they had to move to get well. Don did find black mold. For six months they worked hard to build a home on a piece of land they were able to purchase. Now everyone but my son is well. That is another story.

My son is a son of the heart. His true adopted mother fed him raw eggs every morning when he was growing up. I do not know to what age, but I am certain he has no immunity from this. He needs to have a surgery, but has no money for medical care for himself. He works so hard, and had helped so many. I am not in the position to take on a several thousand dollar medical problem. My heart yearns to help, yet I end up in the negative in my checking account month after month.

He is a JW because his adoptive parents stopped beating the children when they became JW's. He won't give up on JW, but he's given up on Jehovah.

I am so sorry, Chris, and all, I began this for you, and it became something else.

Thank you so very much for your dedication in all you and your family have been through. We mostly have Moody (KMBI 107.9)- You have a lady, Tanisha, singing Amazing Grace on the radio just now. I heard that she sang it for a tiny 20-yr.-old in a crib. Thank you for asking her to sing.
Thank you, Chris for your show. The Love of Christ be with you always, Nomie Richardson-Ione, WA
